Welder / Metal Fabricator

We are looking for an energetic, dependable, and experienced Welder / Metal Fabricator to join our manufacturing team.

This is a full-time position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment . The majority of the work involves fabricating and welding light-gauge steel, angle, tubing, and sheet metal .

Previous professional welding and fabrication experience is required. This is not an entry-level position.

We are looking for someone who can come in with the skills and experience necessary to contribute immediately, work efficiently, and produce consistent, quality work.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate light-gauge steel components
• Work with angle, square and rectangular tubing, and sheet metal
• Measure, cut, fit, tack, and assemble components
• Produce clean, consistent welds
• Use grinders, saws, drills, and other common fabrication tools
• Read basic drawings, measurements, and specifications
• Check completed work for proper fit, dimensions, and quality
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with other fabrication and manufacturing tasks as needed

Requirements

• Previous professional welding and metal fabrication experience is required
• Experience working with light-gauge steel
• Experience fabricating angle, tubing, and sheet metal
• Ability to produce clean, consistent welds
• Comfortable using common fabrication and shop tools
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good attention to detail and workmanship
• Dependable and punctual
• Energetic with a strong work ethic
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Willing to work overtime when needed

Pay & Schedule

• Competitive hourly pay based on experience
• Full-time position
• Overtime available
